Join the Governor Residence Office as a Housekeeper and become part of a dedicated team that supports this historic home. This role gives you the chance to help maintain a welcoming and polished environment for the First Family and visiting guests. Your care and attention will help preserve a space that represents pride and tradition. You will handle a variety of daily and periodic housekeeping tasks that support the comfort and presentation of the residence. As a Housekeeper, you will perform the following duties:

Daily Cleaning: Maintain rooms by dusting, polishing furniture, removing waste, and cleaning floors
Laundry Care: Sort, wash, dry, iron, and store clothing and linens while handling delicate items properly
Supplies And Equipment: Track cleaning materials and report needed replenishment to supervisors
Event Support: Assist in public and private events by serving guests, maintaining confidentiality, and helping with operational tasks
You will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime is to be expected.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in general housekeeping work and cooking on a family or residence basis; An equivalent combination of experience and training.
You must possess and maintain a valid non-commercial Class C Pennsylvania driver's license or equivalent.

Experience with professional laundering and basic sewing/repairs

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
