Current State of Michigan Practical Nurse Licensure (LPN) required. Completes required elements to maintain Michigan Practical Nurse licensure. Related ExperienceMinimum: Experience in a healthcare setting as an LPN.Preferred: Hospital experience.Computer CompetencyFamiliarity with standard desktop and Windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.Responsibilities:The LPN role works directly under the supervision of an RN.Assists the RN in the application of the nursing process to assigned patients.Documents assessments, interventions and patient response, and initiates care plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
