LPN/RN: Full Time Monday - Friday Flexible Hours

Verland is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at our Main Campus in Sewickley, PA.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to the individuals that call Verland their home.

Shifts Available
36‑hour full‑time shifts: Week 1 - 6 pm - 6:30 am on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday; Week 2 - 6 pm - 6:30 am on Sunday, Monday, Friday.

Responsibilities

Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.

Assess the physical status of residents daily and report any unusual behavior or condition to the Charge Nurse.

Assist with physician visits as assigned.

Document care given to residents on a daily, quarterly, and annual basis.

Develop and implement health‑care plans for assigned residents as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attend all staffing and ITR reviews.

Participate in and attend Nursing Department committee meetings as assigned.

Not responsible for inserting nasogastric tubes or obtaining physicians’ orders.

Perform other related duties as required.

Working knowledge of professional standards and current nursing trends.

Ability to comprehend residents’ records and physicians’ orders and communicate information effectively.

Ability to establish working relationships with other IDT members.

Ability to document residents’ care comprehensively according to professional and legal standards.

Minimum Training And Experience

Graduate of a recognized one‑year practical nurse program with current Pennsylvania registration.

At least one year of experience in an acute‑care facility or related field (rehabilitation, extended‑care facility).

All required clearances and a valid driver’s license.
