RN/LPN, Ambulatory Care (Full Time)

About This Role As an RN in the Pediatric Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus, you will deliver professional nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical and invasive procedures. Department/Unit: Pediatric Operating Room
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
What You'll Do Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings.
Notify physicians of abnormal findings.
Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
Participate in education, research, and performance improvement activities.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN required
OR Licensed RN with at least two years of LPN experience may substitute for required RN experience
Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
