Solar design and engineering

Ulteig is currently seeking talented and motivated Solar Design Engineer candidates to support the design of utility scale solar projects nationwide. Qualified candidates will be considered to work remote from any location in the US, or if candidate chooses may work from any of Ulteig's existing office locations.
Work with internal multi-disciplinary teams and clients to develop Solar PV design/construction packages including solar array layouts, electrical one-lines, collection systems, collection system studies, and equipment installation details for Utility Scale Solar PV systems (50-500MW+)
Leverage internal tools and external software to aid in the design process
Contribute to continual development of internal solar engineering standards, toolsets and work processes.
Partake in site visits and conferences to meet client requests and strengthen relationships.
Support development of early-stage projects with conceptual designs and material take-offs.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
Experience with various solar design software programs (CYMCAP, PVFARM, SAM, PVsyst etc.)
Experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is mandatory. Due to the dynamic nature of the renewable energy market, the ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies is a must.

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $93,800 - $126,900
