The Department employs evidenced-based best practices in providing the highest quality care to its patients, in a patient-centered approach that is respectful of their individuality, culture, and community.Provide care for a diverse and challenging group of Internal Medicine patients in a Level III Patient Centered Medical Home.Work alongside a group of internal medicine physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and case managers providing consultative as well as direct patient care.Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, interviews, medical histories, observations, and psychological testing to diagnose patients.Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications.Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, psychologists, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans.Opportunities for Departmental Representation, Research, and Leadership Education.QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.Active New York State Medical License.Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.
