Graduate/Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Pay: $35-52/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team in Denver. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and utilize your specialized nursing skills to serve various patient age groups, including adults, adolescents, geriatrics, and pediatrics. As a vital member of our surgical team, you will ensure smooth and efficient procedures in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly functioning.
Assist with the post-procedure workflow, including cleaning the OR, organizing unused supplies, and setting up for subsequent procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Supervise, teach, and mentor staff members based on their competency level, ensuring the effective delegation of tasks.
Rotate to other departments as needed, performing duties aligned with your skill set and competencies.
Qualifications:

Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado or an active multi-state RN license.
Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a perioperative (OR) setting is required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (required within 6 months of hire).
CNOR certification (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and operating room protocols.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to rotate to other units and perform various duties as needed.
