Hourly pay is based on experience, education, and certifications, plus additional differentials, premiums, and incentives where applicable.
Full Time: 3 nine-hour shifts; weekends (Sat/Sun starting at 7am or 8am) and two weekday shifts in Dover, NH at our Main Hospital.
Perform Comprehensive Cardiac Ultrasound Exams
Independently perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), portable cardiac ultrasound studies, and contrast/bubble studies while acquiring diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Review patient histories, prior imaging, and clinical information to ensure appropriate exam protocols and deliver safe, patient-centered care.
Document and Communicate Findings
Prepare accurate preliminary reports and communicate relevant findings to interpreting physicians in a timely manner.
Maintain Safety, Quality, and Compliance Standards
Prepare equipment and exam rooms, adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and comply with all privacy, departmental, and hospital policies.
Utilize proper positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort, safety, and a positive experience for patients and families.
Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities, assist with scheduling and workflow coordination, and meet established productivity and quality standards. Associate's degree in Sonography preferred
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS required
Previous experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred
Medical Imaging License through the State of New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure & Certification (OPLC) required upon hire
