Shift: Predominantly days (ex: 8AM - 5PM), M-F, PRN

Base Pay Range: $24.45 per hour, flat rate

This role is ideal for a proactive nurse who skillfully measures and monitors vital signs, prepares patients for procedures, and communicates clearly to ensure comfort and understanding throughout the care experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, safety-focused, and committed to observing, documenting, and reporting changes in patient conditions with accuracy and urgency. When completing the application, you'll be asked to indicate your preference of location and/or specialty. Provide quality care to patients and work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction. Follow all safety, security, and infection control, policies and procedures. Maintain the standards of nursing care and departmental criteria to assure they are aligned with the University of Missouri Health Care Mission and Goals.

Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.

Perform patient care duties and procedures following department policy, established protocol and standard of care, or directed by Charge Nurse.

May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

Missouri Board of Nursing LPN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state LPN. Excellent guest relations for effectively meeting, greeting, and communicating with patients, providers, and external and internal customers as well as peers.

The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
