Senior Staff Attorney (Full-time)

As a Supervisory Senior Staff Attorney, you will supervise outside counsel in the management of some of the most complex cases. You will report to a senior manager in litigation.

Handle litigation involving either the corporation and/or its insured within established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility

Analyze files as litigation progresses. Oversee outside counsel throughout litigation of complex claims

Review motions and briefs during course of litigation and provide necessary feedback

Conduct legal research as necessary

Stay current on state statutes and court decisions and analyze how statutes and court decisions affect the interpretation and enforceability of the various policy provisions

Supervise litigation with higher complexity across multiple lines of business

Experienced attorneys passionate about making a difference for clients and communities

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service

Demonstrated litigation experience

Solid knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law
