In this role, you'll perform inspections on in-process and finished assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, you'll verify critical dimensions, review blueprints and engineering changes, and maintain accurate inspection records. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to the production of advanced avionics products for commercial, general aviation, and military programs.Located just four miles from Fort Lauderdale's sunny beaches, DG offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive culture where we work together as one crew.What You'll Do (Responsibilities):Inspect in-process and finished parts and assembliesUse calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring toolsRead blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsDocument inspection results and identify nonconforming partsEnsure compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality standardsSupport a safe and quality-focused manufacturing environmentAssist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned by managementFollow all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Manager/Safety DirectorWhat We're Looking For (Minimum Required Qualifications):High School Diploma or GEDMinimum (1) year of Quality Inspection experience in manufacturingExperience using measuring instruments and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Ability to read blueprints and follow proceduresBasic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn and cross-trainAbility to lift up to 25 lbsPreferred Experience (Nice To Have):Aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical device manufacturingElectrical or electromechanical assembliesMechanical assemblies or machined componentsComposite materials and structuresPaint or surface finishing processesWhy You'll Love Working Here:We are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
