Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of MRI procedures [Required]
Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]
Customer Service skills [Required]
Work Experience
1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]
Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) [Required]
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law. Schedule & Shift
