Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at TriHealth. The ideal candidate will work in our physician offices, assisting with patient care, administering medications, and supporting physicians with various procedures.

Work Hours: Full Time, 80 hours bi-weekly Day shifts Some offices require working on Saturday mornings (rotation schedule)

Sign-on Bonus of $2,500 for external qualified candidates (Full-time position and requires a one-year work commitment)

This position assists physicians and/or registered nurses in providing clinical care and/or supervising care delivered by medical assistants. The role also involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members in meeting patient and family needs. Additionally, this position implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice set forth in the Nurse Practice Act, and contributes to the evaluation of patient responses to nursing care and documents in an accurate and timely manner.

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Nursing

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Ohio. Current RN licensure is also acceptable
  • Prepares and safely administers medications to participants in accordance with the law, professional standards, scope of practice, and organizational policy.

Interprets and executes physician orders accurately and documents medications timely according to nursing standards.

Performs technical skills according to hospital and department policies/procedures, appropriate competencies, and accepted standards of practice.

Determines supply needs for the nursing department and orders supplies necessary to maintain the needs of the department.

Identifies areas for self-improvement, cooperates with clinical instructors to facilitate effective learning experiences for nursing students, maintains current knowledge in the area of practice, and demonstrates knowledge of organizational and unit changes.

Collects data that contributes to the nursing assessment, documents ongoing observations, and communicates observations and findings to other healthcare team members.

Demonstrates knowledge and application of PACE regulations, specifically those related to the provision of primary care for participants.
