Must obtain required license before contract begins

Must-Have: Candidate must be able to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to starting assignment. Available to work every other weekend and holiday. Traveler may be assigned to support the nursing care team of the unit they are floated to. Assignments may include high-risk respiratory units or similar patient care areas. Cancellations of shifts may occur due to low census. The contract can be canceled with two weeks' notice without penalty. Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts based on needs. Epic charting system experience is required. Candidates are expected to work with adult and geriatric patient populations. Patient diagnoses may include congestive heart failure, strokes, renal failure, and post-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Skills required include vital sign monitoring, communication of patient status changes, and various patient care procedures. Interdisciplinary support may include therapy, social services, and pharmacy. Travelers must comply with all floating protocols and facility requirements.
