Full-Time Greenskeeper

GreenskeeperBurnt Store Marina Country Club, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Key responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipmentRakes and maintains sand bunkers.Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).Assists with golf course set-up procedures.Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.Performs other duties as required.Minimum qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:One month related experience or training.Must have a valid driver's license.Other qualifications:Regular and reliable attendanceAbout TroonFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
