A nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking an Engineer II to support complex design-build projects across its growing Central Region. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to take ownership of electrical design work, expand their technical expertise, and grow toward EIT, PE, and future engineering leadership opportunities.
The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of electrical engineering or design experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and a desire to learn, solve problems independently, and contribute to project success. Experience with power distribution, electrical calculations, power studies, and design-build environments is highly preferred, while candidates actively pursuing their FE or EIT are encouraged to apply.

Lead electrical design efforts and own portions of projects with limited oversight.
Perform electrical calculations, power studies, and system analysis.
Develop power distribution, lighting, and electrical system designs.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
Support construction activities through field visits, design reviews, and technical problem-solving.
2+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience with the ability to independently own project tasks and scopes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical or Civil Engineering backgrounds may also be considered).
• Communication skills with the ability to explain technical work, perform electrical calculations/studies, and collaborate with clients and project teams.
