Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) healthcare professional position is located in an ambulatory surgical setting within a 440-bed hospital. This role involves working in an outpatient surgical environment with a focus on peri-anesthesia care, supporting a daily caseload of approximately 35 procedures. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, primarily scheduled during evening shifts.
Job Details:
Schedule: Evenings, 11:00 AM 9:30 PM or 12:00 PM 10:30 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, degree, location, and at least 3-4 years of clinical experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Candidate must have EPIC electronic medical record experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience not required; excellent communication skills to support a team-oriented environment and contribute to a culture of support, especially when interacting with students and new hires.
Additional Information:

Must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered.
No request for time off at the time of submission will be approved.
Patient population includes ambulatory surgical and procedural cases.
The role involves collaborative work with students and new hires, fostering a supportive and educational environment.
