Emergency Department Tech - EMT- Nights
TactStaff
Provide urgent emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department of a Level 2 trauma center. Assist in delivering high-quality patient services while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately in high-volume emergency settings.
Administer emergency treatments and interventions per established protocols.
Operate and interpret telemetry monitors and other medical equipment.
Document patient care activities precisely using the Cerner system.
Hold at least 2 years of recent experience in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume ED.
Possess valid EMT or Paramedic certification and relevant licensure.
Demonstrate proficiency in reading telemetry monitors and passing tele exams.
Be adaptable to shift schedules, including every other weekend and night shifts.
Comply with hospital-specific certification requirements such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC.
