Job Summary:

Gastroenterology Laboratory Nurse in Douglasville, Georgia. This position involves supporting procedures within the gastroenterology lab environment, including pre/post procedure care and assisting in the procedure room. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
Location: Douglasville, Georgia
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off, involving a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours; valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent; less than 1 year of experience with direct patient care; ability to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in technology supporting clinical care; strong interpersonal, customer service, critical thinking, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a gastroenterology setting or with procedures is preferred
Additional Information: On call 1 day a week and 4th weekend; GI RN required to perform pre/post and procedure room duties; ACLS certification preferred; scrubs navy blue and white
