Physicians Dialysis: Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Inpatient Acute Dialysis
Schedule: 40 hours/week with an every other weekend and rotating holidays schedule. The on-call schedule averages 3-4 days/month and includes one weekend per month.

Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:

Current WI License
AHA Provider level BLS
AHA Provider level ACLS
Roles & Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
Document according to standards of care.
Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or facility policy including patient and family instruction.
Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
Utilize clinical expertise to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care and ensure patient safety and experience by using critical thinking and appropriate escalation.
