RN/LPN - Immediate Need Night Shift

LVN Med-Surg/LTACH

Custom Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) with Med-Surg or LTACH experience for an exciting opportunity. This is a great opportunity for experienced LVNs looking for consistent 12-hour night shifts and the flexibility of an open-ended contract that is updated monthly.

LVN Med-Surg/LTACH Details:

Shift: Days or Nights, may start as early as 4:30am

Hours: 36/48 hour rotation

Contract: Open-ended; 250 Referral Bonuses Available!

LVN Med-Surg/LTACH Job Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to the inmate population in a correctional healthcare setting

Administer medications to inmates in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Assess and monitor patients and provide appropriate nursing interventions

Document patient care accurately and timely

Respond to patients' healthcare needs and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff

Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care

Float to other units and facilities as needed

Nurses will be asked to float as needed to different units.

Units requiring floating are generally located within 1030 minutes of each other.

A nurse may be floated or diverted to another unit within a 50-mile radius of their assigned unit.

In rare circumstances, a nurse may be transferred to another unit in the middle of a shift.

LVN Med-Surg/LTACH Requirements:

Current, valid Texas LVN license

IV Therapy Certification required

Ability to work in a correctional healthcare setting

Correctional healthcare experience is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.

Willingness and ability to float or divert to other assigned units/facilities as required
