CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Mastercam programming and operation of HAAS CNC machines to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is critical to producing high-tolerance components for the aerospace and defense industries , requiring a strong understanding of machining principles, quality standards, and CAD/CAM software.
Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC machines using Mastercam for 3-axis and 5-axis milling operations.
Set up and operate HAAS vertical and horizontal machining centers .
Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to optimize efficiency and precision.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs.
Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes per aerospace and defense standards.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments to programs and setups.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of setups, tool lists, and inspection reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes and workflow.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
Proficiency in Mastercam programming and post-processing for HAAS machines.
Strong knowledge of HAAS controls and machine maintenance.
Familiarity with aerospace materials (e.g., titanium, Inconel, aluminum alloys).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
Understanding of AS9100, ITAR, and other industry-specific compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
