Technical Program Manager

Our client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Technical Program Manager for their Foster City, CA/Hybrid location. Serving as the primary program contact for external suppliers of sensor cleaning components, ensuring their adherence to technical specifications, development milestones, and validation plans.

Supporting and managing internal core team meetings with agenda setting, note taking, and follow up actions.

Developing and maintaining standard reports and organized documentation to deliver concise, effective updates on program status, risks, and accomplishments to key stakeholders.

In partnership with the core team, owning and updating the program plan, finance and budget plans consistently.

Ensuring problems are transparent, risks are identified and properly assessed. Proactively driving issue resolution and tracking closely to ensure that risk mitigating actions are effectively executed.

Supporting the AHE TPM team with the program management and operational activities as needed.

This could include working with managers on issue tracking and ticket hygiene, quarterly planning, and developing new KPIs and other methods to measure performance that best translate progress toward goals.

BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of working experience.

At least 5 years of experience in technical / engineering program management.

Reference and proven track record of managing complex cross functional programs end to end.

Experience and ability to manage international suppliers. Flexibility to travel internationally as needed.

Ability to keep the big picture in focus while also providing clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience.

Excellent communications, collaboration and relationship-building skills.

Experience with requirements management software (Polarion) and task tracking software (JIRA) preferred.

Experience in Smartsheet, Lucidchart and gSuite/MS Suite

Project Manager Professional certification (PMP) or equivalent.

Experience with autonomous vehicles, test platforms, simulation, and automotive or aerospace processes is highly desired.
