Identification of potential supply risk and development of mitigating strategies
Ensure a competitive sourcing environment by driving efforts for dual qualification of supply, routinely quoting incumbent spend, and working with sites to ensure suppliers routinely challenged on cost
Negotiate best in class long term supply contracts
Deliver periodic executive business review of category (5-year plan) focusing on overall strategy, industry landscape, supplier capabilities, performance, and technical roadmaps
Help define strategic business objectives from a cost, delivery, contracting and NPI perspective
Maintain working knowledge of market trends, key drivers of supply conditions, and cost structure along with any technology shifts ongoing
Travel to supplier manufacturing locations to assess "ground conditions", foster healthy working relationships, and deliver key messages to supplier leadership
Heavy Gauge Steel Fab Procurement leader

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing
• 5+ years' experience negotiating with international suppliers
• 20% travel international and domestic

Global supply chain experience working with diverse worldwide team spanning multiple time zones

• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing concepts and tools(SAP, Excel, PowerBI)
• Very comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
