Shift:
Night (United States of America)
Initiates cardiac monitoring, detects dysrhythmias, and notifies the assigned nurse or charge nurse of abnormalities. Performs venipuncture for testing and inserts peripheral IVs, hang IV fluid without medication, and maintains prescribed IV flow rates. Observes and documents the condition of infusion sites and remove IV lines as directed by registered nurse. Follows Center for Disease Control isolation guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of personal protective equipment, perform hand washing according to policy, and enforce safety regulations. Champions customer service by keeping patients informed, providing updates, and demonstrating caring and compassion. Knowledge of regulatory requirements [Required]

• Demonstrated customer service skills with a patient centric approach [Required]
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Field of Study:
• Work Experience:

• 1+ year ed or pre-hospital paramedic experience [Required]
• Monitor Tech cross-training [Preferred]

Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
