Hospital Infection Control Nurse

As an Infection Control Nurse, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures

Conducting regular surveillance and monitoring of hospital-acquired infections

Identifying and investigating potential infection control breaches

Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines

Providing education and training on infection control best practices to staff

Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Develop and maintain infection control policies, procedures, and standards

Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections

Identify and report potential infection control risks and incidents

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement infection control plans

Provide education and training to staff on infection control best practices

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state of Kansas

Experience in infection control and/or nursing leadership

Strong knowledge of infection control principles and guidelines
