Senior Architect (part-time)

It provides technical leadership through architecture design, code reviews, coaching engineers, and evolving coding standards and guidelines.The architect will support solutions across the Credit and Collections lifecycle, including credit decisioning, account treatment, delinquency management, payment arrangements, collections workflows, billing and payments integration, and customer financial operations. The role also includes data modeling, troubleshooting production and pre-production systems, and developing frameworks that improve engineering efficiency.Success is measured by the quality of architectural roadmaps, alignment to standards, and effective collaboration on technology strategies. The architect helps deliver scalable, extensible solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and modernization across the domain.We are a team that encourages innovation and advocate an agile and open approach, truly working and playing in the Un-carrier way!Develop and implement technical capabilities to build scalable and extensible systems that meet business requirements, with emphasis on Credit and Collections platforms and processes.Provide coaching on architecture standards and contribute to strategic projects by driving architectural design decisions.Collaborate with business partners during project conceptualization to define solution options and support business justification development for related capabilities.Support senior architects with assessments and work-effort estimates during project intake and planning processes.Develop and maintain architecture designs, roadmaps, and solution patterns supporting Credit and Collections capabilities and related transformation initiatives.Develop solutions that integrate with enterprise platforms such as billing systems, payment platforms, CRM, customer care systems, financial systems, risk platforms, data platforms, and customer communication channels.Support transformation efforts involving decisioning, workflow orchestration, automation, integration, resiliency, scalability, and simplification of legacy technology environments.Partner with business, product, engineering, operations, finance, risk, data, and compliance teams to evaluate solutions, and understand upstream and downstream impacts.Ensure architecture solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, privacy expectations, resiliency standards, audit controls, and applicable regulatory considerations.Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.Education and Work ExperienceBachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. (Required)4-7 years Progressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong eye for business and executive presence. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. To find the pay range for this role based on hiring location, T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance. Actual earnings included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflect target performance; Full and part-time employees have access to the same benefits when eligible.
