About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) for a contract opportunity in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients while monitoring clinical conditions, administering treatments, coordinating care, and supporting safe patient outcomes.
Previous travel nursing experience is required for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients and develop individualized nursing plans of care.
Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies while evaluating patient response and changes in clinical condition.
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support treatment, transfer, and discharge planning.
Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing healthcare needs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established patient-safety, infection-control, and nursing standards.
Requirements
Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License or Applicable Multistate RN License Required.
Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Registered Nursing Experience Required.
Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required.
Current BLS Certification Required.
Completion of Required NetLearning Modules and Successful ECG and Medication Exams With a Minimum Score of 80% Required Before Start.
