Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health. Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos. Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment. Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures. Documents orthodontic care services by charting in patients’ records. g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook). Six (6) or more months of practical experience as an orthodontic assistant. Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred). Quick learner with problem solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc. Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
