HR Rep Full Time

The Human Resources Representative is a strategic business partner that will haveresponsibilities for leading key HR initiatives, providing safety/training and development, andpolicy execution for all levels of the facility. The position will also have direct responsibility forleading payroll, disability processes, managing the plant's uniform vendor and overseeing theHRIS process.

Administer and lead FMLA, Disability and Leaves of Absence cases in partnership withthe General Mills Disability Center. Serve as a local subject matter expert for leaveprocesses.

Support annual HR processes including Affridge Action Planning, Benefits OpenEnrollment, Data Validation, Engagement Survey Administration, and other initiatives.

Provide day-to-day HR customer service to all plant employees, including researchingand resolving questions or issues.

Provide support to Plant HR Team

Manage and support employee retirement prep/celebrations, separations, checklists, andunemployment claim administration.

Provide leadership for HR process improvements.

Lead and coordinate safety and training and development initiatives

Foster a strong working partnership with all functions to support plant objectives.

Develop short- and long-term strategies to drive organizational effectiveness,productivity, and improvements in key metrics.

Proven experience in HR working with all levels of the organization

Strong positive employee relations skills

Demonstrated understanding of fundamental HR competencies.

Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft based applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Publisher, Access), Visio, and SharePoint; with a willingness to learn andmaster other software programs as needed

Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills - ability to prepare and analyzeHR reports, translate data into recommendations and take appropriate action to achievedesired business results.

Ability to lead and manage projects independently

Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, andchange

Experience in Workday and Workbrain
