PREP COOK (HOURLY, FULL-TIME)

Anchorage, AK

If you've worked in kitchens, know your way around prep, production, and keeping things moving under pressure — we want to talk to you. Assets, Inc. is currently looking for Cooks to join our team! Permanent, full-time 30-40 hrs/wk - $22.48 per/hour + employer paid medical indemnity, dental, vision, life insurance, and short term disability! Demonstrate and adhere to Assets, Inc. core values, mission, and code of conduct.

Prepare products according to the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) Automated Recipe System.

Follow tasks listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) as directed by the contract.

Maintain a clean and organized station while practicing safety and sanitation.

Properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.

Complete ServSafe training satisfactorily.

Maintain a proactive relationship with customers and coworkers.

Follow all policies set forth by Assets, Inc.

Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Previous prep or line cook experience.

Ability to speak, read, and understand English to effectively communicate with customers.

Ability to think, react calmly, and respond to emergency situations.

Regular exposure to heat/cold from mechanical equipment.
