Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up *ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE A UNEXPIRED COPY OF THE CANDIDATES DRIVES LICENSE* COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J; If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or Religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form and email it to the address on the form. These should be done ASAP as they have to go through a council to be approved or denied Must have Total Joint Replacement experience and not just fractures. Unit 7NE - Ortho/Tele # Beds 22 Total Beds Ratios 1:5-6 Required Certifications BLS Common diagnosis / Types of patients Ortho - Joints/Replacements/Fractures Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have strong ortho experience Are RN's required to titrate drips No Common titratable &/or set rate drips No Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips? Notes state they have Tele but RN's do not have to read strips Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge Nurse 24/7 Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios "3 CNA's per shift Ratios 1:7-8" RT/Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) As needed Shifts & Scheduling Nights Weekend Requirement EOW or 2 wknd shifts/schedule Holiday Requirement Yes - travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation Call or Standby Requirement Unknown Floating Requirements Possibly to 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E Scrub Color/Dress Code Royal Blue Unit/Department Specific Orientation 1-2 shifts on the unit
