Network Engineering and Security

Description Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to support the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network environments. This role focuses on advanced network architecture, security enforcement, and performance across complex datacenter and enterprise infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience with network design and security technologies, contributing to both buildout and operational support of high‑performance network environments.

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architecture across LAN and datacenter environments

Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

Support network security architecture, including firewalls, access controls, and secure boundaries

Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring reliability and scalability

Analyze network traffic and perform packet capture for troubleshooting and performance tuning

Work with TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching to maintain network integrity

Support virtualization technologies, including VMware and container‑based solutions

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, including LAN design, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection
