Mental & Chemical Health Counselor

Position Overview As a Credentialed Chemical Dependency Counselor, you will support individuals on their recovery journey by managing a structured caseload and delivering high-quality, person-centered care. In this role, you'll also actively participate in staffing meetings up to four times a week and engage in bi-weekly supervision, presenting treatment plans and reviews for collaborative discussion and approval. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Medication-Assisted Treatment Clinic Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates an understanding of medication assisted treatment, including dosing needs, withdrawal symptoms, over-sedation, medical issues / complications - including pregnancy issues, drug interactions, and other drugs of abuse.

Documents a patient's progress towards meeting treatment plan goals in individual and group progress notes.

Participates in up to four times a week staffing's, bi-weekly supervision, presenting problem patients, completed treatment plans and treatment plan reviews.

Associate degree in applied science in Chemical Dependency or related field; OR two (2) years' experience working in a chemical dependency setting.
