Instructional Design Professional Job

As a key member of the Talent Management Training team, the InstructionalDesigner will support the training and educational needs of the organization bydesigning, developing and implementing appropriate learning solutions to fillperformance gaps and support new initiatives for project management, safety, andleadership development.
This role requires you to be onsite at our Des Plaines office. There is eligibility for hybrid work after 90 days to ensure proper training.
What you’ll do: Design high-quality programs, content and materials that support the company’sbusiness goals and objectives.
Support development of training programs, content, and materials on varioustopics including: Project Management processes and best practices, Crew leader skills,Technical topics, Safety topics, Agile tools, Technology systems, and Leadershipskills.
Develop working relationships with internal clients, field users and subject matterexperts, and communicate regularly with internal clients.
Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organizationto identify and assess training needs in alignment with the business strategy.
Coordinate implementation strategies for each learning solution.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology,Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education or another related field.
3 years of experience developing learning for instructor led, virtual instructor led,self-paced eLearning and video formats.
Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles andinstructional design.
Intermediate experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise,Lectora, iSpring, or similar) and graphic/visual design tools (Canva, Camtasia, etc).
Graphic design aptitude.
Excels at time management and prioritization, consistently meeting deadlineswhile generating high-quality work.
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspaceapplications.
