Job Summary:

Emergency Room registered nurse (RN) position available in San Francisco, California. The RN will provide critical emergency care to a diverse patient population, demonstrating expertise in evidence-based practices, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and regulatory compliance. The role involves thorough documentation, clinical procedures, patient and family education, and recognition of patient condition changes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, 2 years of experience in Emergency Department, CA license that has been uploaded within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and references obtained within the last year

Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level certification, travel experience

Float: Float rotation may be required

Additional Information: Candidates will be responsible for managing diverse trauma and emergency cases including major injuries, acute psychiatric conditions, and critical care procedures. The role entails working with interdisciplinary teams and adhering to hospital protocols for safety, infection control, and patient advocacy. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026.
