Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Gulfport, Mississippi. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by following established nursing care plans, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, and participating in patient education and discharge planning. The position emphasizes patient and employee safety as core organizational values.
Job Details:

Shift Hours: 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and ensures timely documentation. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and providing supervision to ancillary nursing staff. Candidates should demonstrate skills in clinical decision-making, communication, teamwork, and safety practices, including safe patient handling, infectious disease prevention, and hazard awareness. The RN will participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive work environment.
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, starting on 08/24/2026.
