Meal Service- Cook

Work in kitchen with the responsibility of preparing and producing menu items to recipe standards in a quick and efficient manner.
Prepare food daily as outlined.
Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
Assist with set-up, service and clean-up of food production.
Ensure proper sanitation and storage of kitchen equipment.
Ensure compliance with state local and regulatory agencies as it relates to food service.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle and flat top.
Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, move or push goods on a food warmer weighing a maximum 300 lbs. Actively participates with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all outlets food.
S Knowledge of various knife cuts and different garnishes.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. High school diploma or equivalent.
Office/Casino environment. Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise levels and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment.
