Outpatient Oncology Clinic Nurse - Full Time

Registered Nurse
Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a full time, day shift position in our Coon Rapids Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, provides professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. This position functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. Mon-Fri Clinic Hours: 0800-1700
Completion of an associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience OR completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing OR Master's Degree in nursing.
One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience required.
Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willing to obtain within 1 to 2 years of hire OR successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle (tracked by dept).
Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire).
One year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting.
