The Human Resource Manager performs daily HR duties and assists in carrying out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, safety, workers compensation, employment/staffing, performance management, benefits and compensation administration.
You will do this by:
Working with managers and supervisors to coach and counsel on employee relations and performance issues
Responding to employee issues or complaints and working to resolve them
Ensuring all pre‑employment and post‑offer protocols are completed in the hiring process
Assisting with benefit administration at the local level including managing FMLA and LOA requests
Managing workers compensation claims and tracking workplace safety metrics
Promoting and coordinating various employee relations and recognition programs
Maintaining the HRIS database and compiles reports from database as needed
Conducting training sessions with employees and/or leadership
Leads and administers the company’s Time & Attendance program
Tracks headcount (hires, separations, LOA, etc.) and provides regular reports

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 2 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of employment laws such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, DOL, etc.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience working with an HRIS and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Experience working with ADP and Epicor
Ability to communicate in Spanish, both verbally and in writing
Physical | Visual Demands:
Weight amount that would need to be lifted, pushed or pulled: Up to 25 pounds
Sit, Stand, Walk Talk/Hear, Use Hands, Reach with Hands and Arms
No special vision requirements are needed
Quiet (Examples:library, private office)
Moderate (Examples:business office with typewriters and/or computer printers, light traffic)
Loud (Examples:metal can manufacturing department, large earth moving equipment)
