This role also manages disbursement of cash reimbursements, cash advances, student emergency loans, and miscellaneous cash disbursements.

Job Duty 1 - Performs complex cashiering functions for student accounts following specific college procedures and policies. Accepts payments, posts charges, cashes checks and issues refunds.

Job Duty 2 - Must be familiar with Institute billing and refund policies, institutional and Family Education Rights and Privacy Acts (FERPA) confidentiality regulations.

Job Duty 3 - Prepares daily deposits of receivable including balancing and posting receipts. Records and closes out credit card and Buzz card machines.

Job Duty 4 - Provides technical assistance to customers, over the phone and in person, regarding business office, registration, financial aid and accounts receivable policies and procedures; general college policies.

Job Duty 5 - Posts miscellaneous department revenue to financial system.

Job Duty 6 - Processes a variety of employee transactions including: check cashing, issuing parking permits and provides a variety of forms.

Job Duty 8 - Provide accurate accounting of all payments and deposits.

Educational Requirements High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma

Must be able to lift 50lbs and can stand for more than 90% of the work shift

KNOWLEDGE Working knowledge of retail/dining operations
