Material Handler Warehouse, Immediate start

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the E agle's Rest Inn on Dover Air Force Base.

Receives, counts, weights, and checks items to ensure that the vendor has delivered the type and quality of items purchased. Records quantity received on purchase order receiving copy, condition of items, and forwards completed document.
Stocks empty spaces on shelves and neatly arrange the merchandise.
Fills requisitions of activities and retains triplicate copy of the requisition in the storeroom to account for the issues. Forwards all signed storeroom requisitions to the supervisor at the end of each workday.
Reviews stock levels with supervisor for adequacy and recommends disposition of slow-moving or dead stock items.
Performs pickup and delivery of supplies utilizing facility vehicles at scheduled intervals to ensure adequate inventory of items to prevent work stoppage.
Assists in end-of-month inventories of stock by counting items and giving figures to supervisor. Ensures that the supplies and equipment is safeguarded and secure at all times; Maintains high sanitation standards and cleans storerooms and stocks regularly.

Must have experience in and knowledge of methods used in receiving, storing, and issuing routine materials and equipment.
Must be able to organize, arrange, and remove stock.
Skill in use of dollies, jacks, and hand tools used in warehousing tasks
Citizens and Non-U.Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
Direct deposit is required.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
This position is not included in a bargaining unit.
