Buyer - Manufacturing and Supply Chain Purchasing

The Buyer supports procurement and sourcing activities for the Automation team by managing requests for quotations, tracking supplier rebates and coordinating and maintaining key vendor relationships to ensure reliable service, quality and cost competitiveness. This role is responsible to ensure accurate documentation, timely communication with vendors and efficient purchasing processes to support business needs.

Source competitive suppliers and materials to maximize value for the company.

Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Proactively provide forecasts to suppliers, follow up on delayed shipments and coordinate with internal teams to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Track and manage supplier rebates, ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, quality data, and on-time delivery.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and risk mitigation.

Any other duties or projects as assigned.

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field

2+ years of experience of category or buying experience.

Familiarity with supplier capacity planning and lead time tracking.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP or procurement system experience.
