Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

• 36-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios

• Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management systems
• 13-week contract with 24 hours of unit orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and lift teams
• First-time travelers welcome with strong med-surg experience

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience required
Current RN license (NC or Compact state license accepted)
BCLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale certification required
OCN and Chemotherapy Administration certification preferred
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response protocols
Competency in IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care, and IV starts
Experience with respiratory support including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Must be willing to float to all areas holding Medical Surgical patients
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
