Conduct thorough patient assessments, order necessary diagnostic evaluations, and create personalized care strategies
Assess and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in collaboration with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
Engage in follow-up care and management of chronic health issues
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assure comprehensive and continuous care
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Idaho
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Proficient with EMR systems and adaptable to telehealth platforms
