Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a General Surgery Bariatric Unit, requiring a WA or compact license and Epic experience.
Details
General Surgery Bariatric Unit within a hospital setting
MS/Tele unit caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
Requirements
Active WA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting experience required
IV therapy, phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care experience needed
Experience with wound care and isolation precautions/PPE preferred
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg Tele unit supporting bariatric and general surgery patients
Complete facility orientation modules, typically taking 8-12 hours, signed off by facility managers
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
Travel pairs accepted
Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed at time of consideration
No blocked or custom schedule requests considered
