Part-Time Pharmacist

Must have open, active, and in good standing KS State Pharmacist License

Part-Time Pharmacist

Assist the Pharmacy in filling prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacies.

Verify physicians' orders in the computer order system and/or call physician offices to clarify or modify medication or therapies, as needed, based on patient medical histories.

Last check pharmacist review and check pharmacy technician's work based on physician prescriptions and Medication Therapy Management protocols.

Mix pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions.

Take inventory, place orders, check-in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory.

Process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.

Answer telephones and respond to patient or pharmacy technician questions.
