This is a 9-week contract position with the possibility of extension.
Job Description
The Vascular OR RN will be responsible for independently performing endovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care in a vascular operating room setting. The RN will collaborate with the surgical team and support the smooth operation of the vascular unit.
Responsibilities
Independently perform endovascular cases without the assistance of the cath lab team.
Administer medications and assess patient conditions pre- and post-procedure.
Maintain sterile techniques in accordance with protocols for vascular procedures.
Respond to codes and emergencies effectively and efficiently.
Utilize EPIC charting system for patient documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid NY RN license in hand.
• 2-3 years of vascular procedure experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting is essential.
• Previous charge experience is required.
