Retail Non-Armed Security Officer

Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking a professional and observant Retail Non-Armed Security Officer to maintain a visible security presence and support a safe shopping environment for our client in Greeley, CO. This position involves active foot patrols, theft deterrence, and collaboration with store staff and property management to ensure the protection of people, property, and merchandise. This is a great entry-level opportunity to begin your career in the armed and unarmed security industry. Maintain a high-visibility presence throughout retail areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.

Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or incidents accurately

Respond promptly and professionally to security concerns, alarms, or disturbances

Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures in a courteous manner

Provide excellent customer service and assist customers or staff as needed

Coordinate with store management and local law enforcement when required

High school diploma or GED required

Prior security or retail loss prevention experience preferred (but not required)

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (at least 8-hour shifts)

Swing Shift

Full-time and part-time shifts

Hourly range starting at $19.00
