You'll help foster a homelike atmosphere while ensuring clinical excellence in accordance with state regulations and community standards.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Administer and document medications and treatments per physician ordersTake and record vital signs and observe/report changes in resident conditionsProvide direct care and assist with resident ADLs as neededRespond to emergency and health-related calls from residentsSupervise and direct Certified Nursing Assistants, including shift assignments and care coordinationParticipate in physician rounds, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetingsTranscribe and follow through with new orders, maintain accurate MARs and resident chartsSupport a culture of resident choice and dignity by participating in community engagement initiativesParticipate in on-call rotation and assist in staffing during call-outsPromote and maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and team membersMaintain compliance with infection control and safety standardsComplete incident reports, assist in quality improvement, and attend required in-servicesRequirements:Current North Carolina LPN licenseMinimum 1–2 years of LPN experience (long-term care preferred)Current CPR certification (American Heart Association standards or equivalent)Strong clinical documentation and medication administration skillsAbility to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility needsTeam-oriented mindset and positive communication skillsWillingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPerks & Benefits for YOU: At Friends Homes, we care for our team like family.
